Humans can cope without food for a month, for almost a week without water, but only a few minutes without oxygen. Breathing is fundamentally important, but very often we’re a bit carelessabout the way we breathe.
A massage for the inner organsWhen we breathe, our lungs fill with air. The oxygen it contains reaches the most minute parts of the lungs, where it is absorbed by the body via the bloodstream. At the same time, the body gets rid of the waste product carbon dioxide, which we exhale. Breathing also massages our inner organs, creating the optimum environment for them.
